In these days of diversity and tolerance would you not date someone because they had the wrong colour eyes or hair...or got too much or not enough hair, wore glasses or were deaf. Would you not date someone because of their race, colour or religion?

Music is very powerful, hearing an old song on the radio can instantly transport you back to a time and a place many years ago and memories of those times, both happy and sad, feel as fresh as if they were yesterday. This evening I came home and logged onto my PC as I usually do when an online friend I've known for a few years messaged me on MSN. After catching up on what had been happening in each others lives since we had last spoke she asked me if I would like to go round to hers for more than just coffee. Given that my heart is with another, even though I do not know if we will ever be an item again, I made my excuses and set off to the gym for a swim and a sauna.
If you had been put in the same situation what would you have done?

I met a woman through this site around two years ago and what started out as a casual relationship gradually turned into something more and for the past six months or so we had been living together. Unfortunately this coincided with other things in my life, I was out of work, became depressed and miserable and because I was at home all the time we were constantly on top of each other. Needless to say I think she had enough and has moved out and now I have this gaping hole in my life. I know she has not seen the best of me and desperately want her to come back. You don't know what you've got until it's gone...maybe she is glad to be away to have her space but God I miss her.
