I am a good friend. I am very open-minded, honest, tender-hearted, faithful, caring and know how to keep a secrect. I love animals, the mountains, picnics, flowers, a natural wilderness forest and the wildlife therein. I am not big on crowds. I prefer it to be just me and my friend, enjoying time together or a few friends are ok. I get very nervous when meeting someone for the first time. I am a bit shy til I am comfortable with knowing you. Then I am the talker. You might have to tell me to shut up, if you would like to say something...lol. I do have a deep southern country accent. I taught high school for 7 years in the field of Social Sciences and Special Education. I really love thunderstorms with all the thunder and lightening. Also, love the snow and would love to go on a cruise and visit Alaska one day. I cannot stand liars, thieves or someone pretending to be something they are not. I am too trusting of people and have learned many lessons from being so trusting. We live and learn. Life is a constant learning experience, I believe. I grew up on a farm raising tobacco and beef cattle and thought everyone had steak for supper every night...lol. Learned different while in college. I'm just a southern country girl with Cherokee heritage, which I am very proud of. I love my blue jeans, denim shirts and t-shirts. However, if the occassion calls for it, I can dress with the best. Other interests of mine are photography and music...singing and playing.
